Mirror, Mirror on the Stove?

Staying home with young children (in my case four beautiful and energetic children) can be demanding...most days. Interspersed of course with adorable antics, silliness and awe-inspiring moments as you watch them learn about and discover the world around them.

So...how do you react when you see your beautiful/handsome face staring back at you in the mirror...or the stove?














Maybe you're a little apprehensive at first...


but then...


you realize it's you! You get so caught up in the excitement of this discovery that...
















SMACK! You kiss yourself in sheer delight.


Today I'm going to learn from my 9 month old who has overcome so much and still has a life full of challenges ahead of her, yet she is happy to be alive and to be her. I am so happy to be me and to have people like her be a part of my life.

So tonight when you look in the mirror, pretend you're seeing yourself for the first time again and give yourself a great big kiss!
